Mailarchiva Setup/Configuration

IP Address: 10.120.1.129


Step 1. Install/Upgrade MailArchiva Server

To install the server, type the following:


tar –xvzf mailarchiva_opensource_edition_server_v2_5_0_linux.tar.gz


cd mailarchiva_dist


./install

Following the above, the server executables will be installed /usr/local/mailarchiva/server.


cd /usr/local/mailarchiva/server


Step 2. Start MailArchiva Server

To start the MailArchiva Server


/etc/init.d/mailarchiva start


Step3: Connect to mailarchiva console by typing ipaddress:8090/mailarchiva


Login with user: admin and password is with Sanjay Raina only.


Email encryption password is: inn0d@t@


After login below screen will be displayed



Configurations

To configured click on configuration tab:



Above are the localdomains of innodata Based on which archival rules will be set.

Click on volumes to attach the NAS drive/mailstore location


We are having NAS drive with details below

IP address with NAS: 10.120.1.202

Shared drive name: store

User/password required for NAS: no authentication required


Click on Login tab to change the master password .


Click on Journal Accounts tab to configure journal accounts which is configured on exchange


To define Archive Rules


To configure general setting like auto attachment,max number of results click on general tab



On the logs tab all the logs of mailarchiva could be viewed on the interface itself.
