Mgovworld reconfigure zope
RECONFIGURATION OF ZOPE ON EGOVWORLD SERVER AND RESTORATION OF ZOPE INSTANCE FROM Data.fs-BACKUP .
##Install and configure Python 2.4.5##
Python-2.4.5.tgz is downloaded inside /home/downloads
Untar it and Goto Python2.4.5
issue command ./configure
make make install
##Now we have to configure Zope from Scratch
Zope-2.9.0.tgz is downloaded inside /home/downloads
./configure --prefix=/home/zope/zope-install --with-python=/usr/local/bin/python2.4
issue make then make install
##Now we have to make zopeinstance
/home/zope/zope-install/bin/mkzopeinstance.py
It will ask for Directory
We have enterted :- /home/zope/zope_instance
And user name and password is given :- admin
##change user in zope configuration
/home/zope/zope_instance/etc/zope.conf
Goto Line 149 and add line “effective-user zope”
- We have backup of zope instance (Data.fs.Backup) , we have restored it
mv /tmp/Data.fs-Backup /home/zope/zope_instance/var/Data.fs
also Products.Backup is restored
mv /tmp/Products-backup /home/zope/zope_instance/Products
- we have changed the owner and group for /home/zope/ directory
chown -R zope:zope /home/zope/
To start the Zope :-
/home/home/zope_instance/bin/zopectl start
We have also added this line in /etc/rc.local file for automatic start of zope during boot time.
